Waves Ecosystem

Waves is an all-encompassing ecosystem of innovative blockchain solutions and products, with a special focus on inter-chain decentralized finances (InDeFi).

.
Build on Waves

Waves SDK, a diverse collection of tools, facilitates the creation of blockchain-empowered apps and smart contracts from scratch.

Waves uses the Ride programming language, designed for building dApps (decentralized apps) and smart contracts with no gas in a cost-effective and user-friendly way.

If you’re new to the Waves ecosystem, don’t hesitate to join our free course on Coursera. Our large developers community can also assist you with various issues - join the Waves developer chat on Telegram.

.
Waves & DeFi

Waves bridges regular and decentralized finance systems, providing user-friendly and secure tools for exchange, trading and investing:

.
  Neutrino

The Neutrino protocol is an algorithmic price-stable multi-asset protocol and an accessible DeFi toolkit built on Waves and enabling the creation of stablecoins tied to a specific real-world asset.

.
  Waves.Exchange

Waves.Exchange is one of the world's safest cryptocurrency exchanges and an investment platform based on the Waves protocol. It enables users to transfer, trade, issue and stake all mainstream cryptocurrencies with low fees and complete control of funds.

...
.
  Swop.fi

Swop.fi is an instant crypto exchange operating on the AMM (automatic market maker) model and offering the most profitable swap formulas for each token pair.

.
  The Gravity protocol

The Gravity protocol is a decentralized cross-chain and oracle network based on a truly blockchain-agnostic protocol for communication between blockchains and with the outside world, working with native token economies.

Looks like OP is creating an ANN Thread design. I am a fan of Waves, I'll be back the next day if theres an update from the OP post. It must be a good news to Waves investors.

What does waves offer different than ethereum? Because if they are almost indentical, aka the same thing then I don't see why would anybody want to make and switch between ethereum and Waves. Ethereum is somewhat standard where people will want to lunch their own tokens and built their smart contracts, with huge support from the community and this is why it will be in my mind when it comes to smart contracts and dApps and tokens in general. Why is Waves better, or why would I want to do anything on ti rather than do it on ethereum???

This is a good old project with a lot of working funds. I really like decentralized exchanges, I'm sorry that they are not very common, but I'm sure that soon it will change!

Wait. Is that Sasha sasha? Hero member... but why the sudden thread? Following anyway

Lots of reasons, don't want to sound like a shill since I'm a WAVES supporter but I'll sum it up based on the exact reasons I got attracted to Waves:
1. Best liteweight wallet there is around, keeps several cryptos too, all my tokens, Decentralized Exchange, leasing all in one place.
2. Not that I'll ever need to compare but Waves blockchain is the quickest available right now. It'll take a lot more than CryptoKitties to take it down, and as we've seen, that's all it needs to break ETH.

Waves is definitely a good and undervalued project and coin. All it needs is more popularity among people. People still prefer ethereum over it. Personally I like the waves decentralized exchange. I use it often to trade often.

I like the waves platform. I'm actually a bit surprise it has not gained the popularity it deserves. Technology wise, I think it is one of the best. DEX is the future.

A project with great potential, great development and has a team solid, knowing this, what is missing for Waves to be an option in the portfolio of investors? I have already thought about several hypotheses and i can not reach a conclusion and i intend to follow the evolution and development of this project to know the result.

The Waves platform will get it's time in the spotlight.  The Waves project is an all in one cryptocurrency platform.  Prices are very cheap and it'll be a matter of time before the crypto community will be jumping on the bandwagon.

The new thread looks very clear structured and beautifully designed. However from time to time it is not fully loaded for me. I get spots indicating "Refreshing page..." in the opening thread. I do not know if it is because of the internet connection or some other reason  Undecided Could be a little confusing for new interested people.

Guys, which wallet you guys are using for waves?

I'm still using google chrome app and leased all my waves coins. For a long time, I didn't sign in but recently noticed warning message saying that google chrome is closing this app so need to download from the site.

Is this online beta version is safe to use - https://wavesplatform.com/ ?

Did you guys try this wallet already? and feedback will be appreciated.

Should be safe, but it'll be more secure for you to download the app and launch it from your computer.
