OneStringMiner board:
The OneStringMiner boards are designed by Intron and C-scape, two well-known Bitcoin mining board designers.
The OSM is based on Bitfury chips and each board contains 15 chips, hashing 25+ GH/s without heat sink and 30+ GH/s with heat sink.
Each board runs from a single 12V supply, using ~25W.

Given the current difficulty and the low price for the boards, purchase them to have FUN setting up a small miner!
You will not get a ROI on your investment, unless paid in fiat and BTC exchange rate raises significantly.
I estimate a single board will produce around 0.05 BTC during the first 6 months.

The models:
The DIY comes in four flavours: bare board(DIY), set without heat sink(DIY0), and with one(DIY1) or two boards per heat sink(DIY2).
The OSM DIY0,1,2 sets come with all additional items to make a nice setup (hex spacers, rings, nuts, USB cable and board interconnection cables).
All you need to add is a power supply and a host computer running cgminer(bfgminer is not supported).
The hashrate will be at least 25GH/s for the DIY0, 30GH/s for the DIY1, 60GH/s for the DIY2.
Overclocking is possible, ONLY WHEN USING A HEAT SINK, by increase the voltage.
This voids the warranty.

Last boards:
This is the deal: PM me an offer(including shipment) in BTC for any number of DIY/DIY0/DIY1 and/or DIY2 and your complete address and I will get back to you whether or not your offer is acceptable. Shipment will be by FedEx on the next working day.

The latest prices can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.msg9715128#msg9715128

Your bid in BTC(including shipment):

Mandatory items are underlined.

39GH/s
Can be reached by using heat sinks and overvolting, as has been done by one of the designers here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.msg5515427#msg5515427

What's in the box:
DIY set:
1 OneStringMiner board

DIY0 set:
1 OneStringMiner board
1 USB cable
1 power interconnect cable
1 serial interconnect cable
8 hex spacers(4 for each additional board)
4 rings and nuts(for each up to 3 boards)
1 10cm fan(for each up to 3 boards)
4 fan mounting strips(for each up to 3 boards)

DIY1 set:
same as DIY0, plus:
1 small heat sink with mounting holes.
4 M3 screws to mount the board to the heat sink

DIY2 set:
2 DIY0 sets, plus:
1 big heat sink with mounting holes.
8 M3 screws to mount the boards to the heat sink

Everything is in stock, including single and double heat sinks:
So YES, we are selling and shipping. Mostly DIY0 sets, which come without a heat sink. We sell these sets for 25GH/s, but most are faster, some even over 30GH/s. Currently the boards are connected via USB. The serial interconnection is available, but performance is about 10% lower than direct USB connection. Up to 16 boards can run from one USB connection when utilising the serial connection.

Taxes:
The buyer is responsible for all taxes that might need to be paid besides the purchase price.
All shipments will be insured for the purchase price and a signature is required when receiving the package.

Some technical details:
The initial design of the board was first shown on bitcointalk here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=370932.0
The boards are fixed to the heat sink with 4 M3 screws, which will be supplied by us.
The heat sinks have 4 M4 screw holes to easily fix the heat sinks to a base plate. If you want, you can get the screws for these 4 M4 holes for free. Just ask when ordering.
The large heat sinks also have 2 M4 screw holes on top, to stiffen a set of multiple heat sinks. And if you want screws for these 2 holes too, just ask.
The size of an OneString board is 140mm x 100mm.
Two PCIe connectors, 2 screw terminals and 1 barrel jack connector are supplied on each board for power.
Advise is to make sets of 5 DIY1 boards or 5 DIY2 sets, power the middle board(s) with PCIe and use the screw terminals to connect the two boards on the left and the right with the centre board as can be seen on the picture with three single boards. Setup this way no more than ~6A flows through the boards interconnections and no more than ~150W through the PCIe connector.
DIY0 towers can also be made by using 3cm pieces of aquarium air hose and an M3 rod of 20cm. You'll only use the supplied hex spacers on the bottom and the top of the tower. Pictures can be found in this thread.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

OSM Elite, 14 boards, 420+ GH/s, $4479 outside EU, €3920 which includes VAT inside EU, €3240 for business buyers with VAT number.

Questions ? Ask away... or email info@btcguru.eu

What's the point when Ants are doing 200 GH/s for under $800 and are actually in-stock?

The sale:

Shipment will start in the week of 17th of March(we haven’t received all additional items yet). If your order has not been shipped by March 31st, you can ask for a refund and you will receive it within 24 hours.

I know you'll be there or die trying to answer them all. Get a secretary! LoL. If that is not a solid description of how REFUNDS should go I do not know what is. Seems pretty clear this is a no nonsense arrangement. 17th is pretty decent. I think I talk some of the people at the Joe's Pool our Freimining Team might want a few Elites.

+1

it looks great, but its a lot more expensive then other options, including bitfury dvices from MegaBigPower.

bring the prices down to a competitive level and I will buy 2TH worth or more

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Thanks for your interest.
There is more in a comparison than just the price.
And they have the advantage of having designed their own chip, I can't beat that.
Buyers can choose, the OneStringMiners are an extra choice.

We have a secretary, technical questions will be answered by me, shipment questions and such probably by her.

Well, I have been a buyer too: One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.

That would be nice, have them contact me or better send in the order form Smiley

Thanks for your interest.
I'll have another look at my calculation.

Update: I see these prices on MegaBigPower: US$375/US$400 for the 25GH/s board.
OSM DIY1 is US$395. I would say the prices are very comparable and the DIY2 is US$731, already lower than MegaBigPower.
And when ordering multiple DIY's, the discount kicks in.

Thank you.

I will make a guide for overvolting.
One thing is for sure: Most important is a good power supply.
I will include a list of power supplies of which the voltage can be adjusted, including the number of DIY1/DIY2 it can drive.

Please realize, that despite the fact that I am making this guide, your warranty will be void when overclocking.

dude, did you accidentaly walk through a stargate during a sun eruption?

2x Ant = 400GH = 1500$ = 1700$ with brand 1kW PSU or 1550$ with DPS-800

200$ per single 30GH board, 1500 for 10; -that- would be almost OK...

I am on bitcointalk since summer of 2011 and anytime a new product was announced the price was too high.
The OneStringMiner is another choice for the buyer. No one is forcing you to buy.
Unless you are able to bake your own ASIC chips, you'll have to buy them and that causes higher end user prices.
Did you look at the Bitfury chip price on MegaBigPower?
Do you now realize that your prices are impossible when buying chips ?

Are you also going to have the USB Hex-Fury available soon as well?
I had just PM'd intron about them.
They would sell well I could imagine with the low power requirements.
